Born in Nepal in the 6th century B.C., Buddha was a spiritual leader and teacher whose life serves as the foundation of the Buddhist religion.
Siddhartha Gautama, who would one day become known as Buddha (“enlightened one” or “the awakened”), lived in Nepal during the 6th to 4th century B.C. While scholars agree that he did in fact live, the events of his life are still debated. According to the most widely known story of his life, after experimenting with different teachings for years, and finding none of them acceptable, Gautama spent a fateful night in deep meditation. During his meditation, all of the answers he had been seeking became clear, and achieved full awareness, thereby becoming Buddha.
The Buddha, or “enlightened one,” was born Siddhartha (which means “he who achieves his aim”) Gautama to a large clan called the Shakyas in Lumbini, (today, modern Nepal) in the 6th century B.C. His father was king who ruled the tribe, known to be economically poor and on the outskirts geographically. His mother died seven days after giving birth to him, but a holy man prophesized great things for the young Siddhartha: He would either be a great king or military leader or he would be a great spiritual leader. To keep his son from witnessing the miseries and suffering of the world, Siddhartha’s father raised him in opulence in a palace built just for the boy and sheltered him from knowledge of religion and human hardship. According to custom, he married at the age of 16, but his life of total seclusion continued for another 13 years.
Beyond the Palace Walls
The prince reached his late 20s with little experience of the world outside the walls of his opulent palaces, but one day he ventured out beyond the palace walls and was quickly confronted with the realities of human frailty: He saw a very old man, and Siddhartha’s charioteer explained that all people grow old. Questions about all he had not experienced led him to take more journeys of exploration, and on these subsequent trips he encountered a diseased man, a decaying corpse and an ascetic. The charioteer explained that the ascetic had renounced the world to seek release from the human fear of death and suffering. Siddhartha was overcome by these sights, and the next day, at age 29, he left his kingdom, wife and son to lead an ascetic life, and determine a way to relieve the universal suffering that he now understood to be one of the defining traits of humanity.
The Ascetic Life and Enlightenment
For the next six years, Siddhartha lived an ascetic life and partook in its practices, studying and meditating using the words of various religious teachers as his guide. He practiced his new way of life with a group of five ascetics, and his dedication to his quest was so stunning that the five ascetics became Siddhartha’s followers. When answers to his questions did not appear, however, he redoubled his efforts, enduring pain, fasting nearly to starvation, and refusing water.
Whatever he tried, Siddhartha could not reach the level of satisfaction he sought, until one day when a young girl offered him a bowl of rice. As he accepted it, he suddenly realized that corporeal austerity was not the means to achieve inner liberation, and that living under harsh physical constraints was not helping him achieve spiritual release. So he had his rice, drank water and bathed in the river. The five ascetics decided that Siddhartha had given up the ascetic life and would now follow the ways of the flesh, and they promptly left him. From then on, however, Siddhartha encouraged people to follow a path of balance instead of one characterized by extremism. He called this path the Middle Way.
The Buddha Emerges
That night, Siddhartha sat under the Bodhi tree, vowing to not get up until the truths he sought came to him, and he meditated until the sun came up the next day. He remained there for several days, purifying his mind, seeing his entire life, and previous lives, in his thoughts. During this time, he had to overcome the threats of Mara, an evil demon, who challenged his right to become the Buddha. When Mara attempted to claim the enlightened state as his own, Siddhartha touched his hand to the ground and asked the Earth to bear witness to his enlightenment, which it did, banishing Mara. And soon a picture began to form in his mind of all that occurred in the universe, and Siddhartha finally saw the answer to the questions of suffering that he had been seeking for so many years. In that moment of pure enlightenment, Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha (“he who is awake”).
Armed with his new knowledge, the Buddha was initially hesitant to teach, because what he now knew could not be communicated to others in words. According to legend, it was then the king of gods, Brahma, who convinced Buddha to teach, and he got up from his spot under the Bodhi tree and set out to do just that.
About 100 miles away, he came across the five ascetics he had practiced with for so long, who had abandoned him on the eve of his enlightenment. To them and others who had gathered, he preached his first sermon (henceforth known as Setting in Motion the Wheel of the Dharma), in which he explained the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, which became the pillars of Buddhism. The ascetics then became his first disciples and formed the foundation of the Sangha, or community of monks. Women were admitted to the Sangha, and all barriers of class, race, sex and previous background were ignored, with only the desire to reach enlightenment through the banishment of suffering and spiritual emptiness considered.
For the remainder of his 80 years, Buddha traveled, preaching the Dharma (the name given to the teachings of the Buddha) in an effort to lead others to and along the path of enlightenment. When he died, it is said that he told his disciples that they should follow no leader.
The Buddha is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures in world history, and his teachings have affected everything from a variety of other faiths (as many find their origins in the words of the Buddha) to literature to philosophy, both within India and to the farthest reaches of the Western world.

“Why has marriage failed? In the first place, we raised it to unnatural standards. We tried to make it something permanent, something sacred, without knowing even the abc of sacredness, without knowing anything about the eternal. Our intentions were good but our understanding was very small, almost negligible. So instead of marriage becoming something of a heaven, it has become a hell. Instead of becoming sacred, it has fallen even below profanity. Continue reading “Why has marriage failed – Osho”

We love most of the people or you can say we desire or expect love from everyone but somewhere we all forget to love our own self. We all are busy to give love to other or to take love from others. One person who is standing just opposite to you in front of the mirror is more important than anything. Value that person, give love and respect to him/her. You are unique. You are special. You are the beauty of Goddess. Express yourself. Respect yourself. Don’t pressurize yourself just for the sake of social norms. Only Remember, You are a queen of your father and heartbeat of your mother. We Indians always have two faces, one side we worship Maa Durga & Maa Kali and other side we disrespect our own daughter, daughter in law. Sometimes; we forcefully snatch the rights of daughter-in-law and in return, we expect a lot from her. Here Supreme Court comes in picture. The court made the statements in the context of upholding the sentence of seven-year jail term to a man for torturing his wife, who committed suicide.
Supreme Court says: It is a matter of grave concern and shame that brides are burned or otherwise their life-sparks are extinguished by torture, both physical and mental , because of demand of dowry and insatiable greed and sometimes, sans demand of dowry, because of cruelty and harassment meted out to the nascent brides, treating them with total insensitivity, destroying their desire to live and forcing them to commit suicide, a brutal self – humiliation of life,” said justice KS Radhakrishnan and Dipak Misra
The Supreme Court’s statements were welcomed not just by women’s groups but by all country.
One side our society support girls like Supreme court provide different strong rights to girls but on the other side society drag women in old tradition named Dowry or destroy her personal life or destroy her power of taking the decision of her own life. Because of tradition, girls are forced to stop their career; they have to vanish their all dreams just for the sake of society and family. Now, time has changed but things remain same. Still daughter in law treating like maids of the family. Girls should stand for their own interest; they should raise their voice and stand for their rights. No one will serve their rights on plates, they need to stand for their own interest.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
The cups may be made of:
Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it’s not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in 1,550 B.C.
There are different methods of cupping, including:
During both types of cupping, your therapist will put a flammable substance such as alcohol, herbs, or paper in a cup and set it on fire. As the fire goes out, he puts the cup upside down on your skin.
As the air inside the cup cools, it creates a vacuum. This causes your skin to rise and redden as your blood vessels expand. The cup is generally left in place for up to 3 minutes.
A more modern version of cupping uses a rubber pump instead of fire to create the vacuum inside the cup. Sometimes therapists use silicone cups, which they can move from place to place on your skin for a massage-like effect.
Wet cupping creates a mild suction by leaving a cup in place for about 3 minutes. The therapist then removes the cup and uses a small scalpel to make light, tiny cuts on your skin. Next, he or she does a second suction to draw out a small quantity of blood.
You might get 3-5 cups in your first session. Or you might just try one to see how it goes. It’s rare to get more than 5-7 cups, the British Cupping Society notes.
After ward, you may get an antibiotic ointment and bandage to prevent infection. Your skin should look normal again within 10 days.
Cupping therapy supporters believe that wet cupping removes harmful substances and toxins from the body to promote healing. But that’s not proven.
Some people also get “needle cupping,” in which the therapist first inserts acupuncture needles and then puts cups over them.
What Does the Research Show?
There haven’t been many scientific studies on cupping.
One report, published in 2015 in the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, notes that it could help with acne, herpes zoster, and pain management.
That’s similar to the findings from a 2012 report, published in PLoS One. Australian and Chinese researchers reviewed 135 studies on cupping. They concluded that cupping therapy may be effective when people also get other treatments, like acupuncture or medications, for various diseases and conditions, such as:
But those researchers noted many of the studies they reviewed could have been biased and that better studies are needed.
The British Cupping Society says that cupping therapy is used to treat:
Blood disorders such as anemia and hemophilia
Rheumatic diseases such as arthritis and fibromyalgia
Fertility and gynecological disorders
Skin problems such as eczema and acne
High blood pressure
Anxiety and depression
Bronchial congestion caused by allergies and asthma
There isn’t research to back all of that up.
Cupping is fairly safe, as long as you go to a trained health professional. But you could have these side effects in the area where the cups touch your skin:
What to Ask Your Doctor First
Talk with your doctor before you start cupping or any other type of alternative or complementary medicine. And talk extensively with your cupping therapist, too, before you try it. Ask:
What conditions do they use cupping for?
What is your training?
What is your experience in using it?
Am I already getting the standard treatments for my condition?
Are there reasons I should not get cupping?

Dhanteras is a most celebrated festival in India. Dhanteras festival falls in the month of Kartik(Oct-Nov) on the thirteenth day of the dark fortnight. Two days before Diwali, Dhanteras is celebrated. In India, on Dhanteras, Lakshmi – the Goddess of wealth – is worshiped to provide prosperity and happiness. As the word itself explains, Dhan means wealth and ‘Tera’ means 13th. People are celebrating Dhanteras by lighting a lamp in evening. Dhan – Lakshmi is welcomed into the house. Some families are also making Rangoli in front of the door just to welcome the Goddess Lakshmi. Aartis are sung and fruits and sweets are offered to her. On Dhanteras Lord Kuber is also worshiped by Hindu. This custom of worshiping Lakshmi and Kuber together is in the prospect of doubling the benefits of such prayers.
People flock to the jewelers and buy gold or silver jewelry or utensils to venerate the occasion of Dhanteras.
There is a belief that on Dhanteras buying new clothes, Gold and silver are very good and it will increase the wealth and prosperity. New things which are purchase on Dhanteras will get 13 times growth over a year.
Story behind the Dhanteras
There was a story that the 16- year old son of King Hima. His horoscope predicted his death by snake-bite on the fourth day of his marriage. On that particular day, his newly-wed wife did not allow him to sleep. She laid out all her ornaments and lots of gold and silver coins in a heap at the entrance of the sleeping chamber and lit lamps all over the place. Then she narrated stories and sang songs to keep her husband from falling asleep.
The next day, when Yama, the god of Death, arrived at the prince’s doorstep in the guise of a Serpent, his eyes were dazzled and blinded by the brilliance of the lamps and the jewelry. Yam could not enter the Prince’s chamber, so he climbed on top of the heap of gold coins and sat there the entire night listening to the stories and songs. In the morning, he silently went away.
Thus, the young prince was saved from the clutches of death by the cleverness of his new bride, and the day came to be celebrated as Dhanteras. And the following days came to be called Naraka Chaturdashi (‘Naraka’ means hell and Chaturdashi mean 14th). It is also known as ‘Yamadeepdaan’ as the ladies of the house light earthen lamps or ‘deep’ and these are kept burning throughout the night glorifying Yama, the god of Death. Since this is the night before Diwali, it is also called ‘Chhhoti Diwali’ or Diwali minor.

Dr. Kalam was a unique personality. He is also known as Missile Man. He reminds us a religion named “Humanity”. He was a kind of person who can feel the pain of others and for this, he didn’t require any blood relation to others. He truly believes that everyone was his brothers and sisters. He was very kind. He is a source of knowledge for our future generation. Abdul Kalam proved this concept that for being unique, you need to be simple. His personality speaks about his simplicity.
“It is simple to be difficult but
It is difficult to be simple”
Here are few stories of Dr. Kalam which defiantly motivate you for being better human being.
Caring – Dr. Kalam was a kind of person who believes that every human being has a relation with each other. He is known for humanity. Dr. Kalam was always paying attention towards his colleagues. One of a co-worker of Dr.Kalam had promised his kids that he would take them to the science museum after returning from work and obtained the prior permission of Mr. Kalam to leave early. The colleague was so engrossed in his work that it was well into the evening when he realized that he had made a promise to his kids. On rushing back home, he came to know from his wife that Mr. Kalam had come earlier and taken his kids to the museum.
- Equality – At a recent convocation of IIT- Varanasi, Dr. Kalam was the chief Guest. There are five chairs on the stage. The chair which belongs to Dr. Kalam was larger in size as compared to other chairs. Dr. Kalam refused to sit on it and another chair was made available immediately for him. If you see this incident from the normal eye, so there is no big deal to sit on a larger sized chair but if you go deep in this incident then you will realize that different size of chair creates a difference in level or status of people. Dr. Kalam believes that every human being is same and deserves equal rights.
- Kind Hearted – The government of India takes care of the President as well as of all the former presidents. Dr. Kalam during his tenure as President decided to give away all his wealth and life savings towards a trust that works towards providing urban amenities to the rural population. He gave his presidential salary to charity.
- Deeply rooted person – As the President, Dr. Kalam was entitled to invite anyone as the “President Guests” to the Raj Bhavan of Kerela during his first visit to Trivandrum. Dr. Kalam had spent a significant time as a scientist in Trivandrum and he invited a road – side cobbler – who was quite close to Dr. Kalam during his time in Kerala and so was the owner of the small hotel where Dr. Kalam would often have his meals.
- True Judge – Once, Dr. Kalam was to be a chief Guest at a college event. He wasn’t the President at the time, but held a significant office at the DRDO and was one of the key advisors to the government. Curious to see the kids prep up for a big event, Dr. Kalam decided to pay a visit to the venue. He said he wanted to meet the “real hardworking people”.
Last wish of Dr. Kalam
- Kalam believed on the concept “work till your last breath”
Dr. Kalam was a hard worker. He believed that every human being should work till their last breath. He also believed that people should enjoy their life but they should also respect their work.
- In an interview to IndiaKnowledge@Wharton, the former president spoke about to make the residence of the president completely solar powered. According to Dr. Kalam during his president tenure, he wanted to power the Rashtrapati Bhavan completely with solar power. He was working on this proposal at the beginning of the fifth year, but environmental agencies raised a lot of questions. Before he could answer them, his term ended. He would have liked the Rashtrapati Bhavan to be the first home in India to be powered completely by solar energy.

Amitabh Bachchan(11 October 1942)
Wishing a very happy birthday to Amitabh Bachchan!
Amitabh Bachchan is a well – known name in Bollywood industry. The word good fortune and hard work are very much related to Amitabh Bachchan. He is known as a “Shahenshah of Bollywood”, “Star of the Millennium” or “Big B”. Movies like Zanjeer and Deewar gave him popularity in early 1970. He has won numerous awards for his hard work like National Film Awards and Filmfare Awards. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his contributions to the arts. The Government of France honoured him with its highest civilian honour, Knight of the Legion of Honour, in 2007 for his exceptional career in the world of cinema and beyond. He did so many movies in Bollywood and he is a successful actor in industry but he is also known as an egoless person.
Amitabh Bachchan is a very down to earth personality. He has everything in his life like name, fame, success and good family but still he is very kind from his attitude. Amitabh Bachchan has been involved in many social works. Amitabh donated ₹11 lakh to clear the debts of nearly 40 beleaguered farmers in Andhra Pradesh. He also donated ₹30 lakh to clear the debts of some 100 Vidarbha farmers. In 2010, he donated ₹11 lakh (US$16,000) for Resul Pookutty’s foundation, for the medical centre at Kochi. Amitabh Bachchan donated ₹2.5 lakh to Delhi Police constable Subhash Chand Tomar’s family, who died after succumbing to injuries during an anti-gangrape protest for 2012 Delhi gang rape. He opened a Harivansh Rai Bachchan Memorial Trust or HRB Memorial Trust in his father’s name in 2013. Amitabh Bachchan was made UNICEF goodwill ambassador for polio Eradication Campaign in India in 2002 when 1,556 polio cases were detected that year .On 27 March 2014, World Health Organization(WHO) declared India a polio free country with no case of the disease being reported in the previous three years. In 2013, Amitabh and his family donated ₹25 lakh (US$37,000) to charitable trust Plan India that works for the upliftment of the girl child in India. Amitabh Bachchan donated ₹11 lakh (US$16,000) to Maharashtra Police Welfare Fund in 2013. Amitabh was the face of ‘Save Our Tigers’ campaign that promoted the importance of tiger conservation in India and much more …..
Amitabh Bachchan is very spiritual and has a deep faith in God. In his life, he faced very ups and down time but he didn’t lose hope and him choice the attitude “keep moving”.
He faced two drastic situations in his life;
- In the shooting of movie Coolie, Amitabh Bachchan was critically injured on 26 July 1982 in the intestines which almost cost him his life. In the fight scene, Bachchan was supposed to fall onto a table but mistimed his jump. This resulted in an internal abdominal injury. He was transferred to a Mumbai hospital, where according to the actor, he went into a “haze and coma-like situation”, and was “clinically dead for a couple of minutes”. Bachchan received 60 bottles of blood from 200 donors, one of whom was carrying theHepatitis B Bachchan recovered from the accident, but discovered in 2000 that the virus had resulted in cirrhosis of the liver, which damaged about 75% of his liver. Bachchan later spoke out about his experience to raise awareness about the Hepatitis B vaccine. Despite the critical injury, Bachchan recovered remarkably and resumed shooting on 7 January 1983. In the final cut of the film, the fight scene during which he got injured was frozen and a message appears marking the scene as the one in which he was injured. Manmohan Desai did this on Amitabh’s wish. In this situation, his Good fortune saved him. He saw a death closely that’s why he believed God in every aspect.
- In the year 2000, Amitabh Bachchan was bankrupt. He started ABCL venture in 1995 and this company gained popularity in 1996 it was responsible for bringing to India the Miss World Pageant but in the year 1999, ABCL was facing an unprecedented liquidity crunch. Substantial funds were blocked in production and distribution of films; staff salaries were not being paid on time, and public confidence has nosedived. In March 1999, hounded by creditors led by India’s public broadcaster Doordarshan and Canara Bank, ABCL approached the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction to seek protection under the bankruptcy laws. Bachchan, however, pleaded that he had mortgaged his bungalow to Sahara India Finance for raising funds for his company. The Indian Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction declared Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited a ‘sick’ company with a debt of US$14m. According to Mr. Bachchan, in the year 2000, when the entire world was celebrating the new century, I was celebrating my disastrous fortune. There were no films, no money, no company, a million legal cases against and the tax authorities had put notice of recovery on my home,”
Amitabh Bachchan’s strong determination, hard work and Keep moving attitude saved him from this problem also. According to Amitabh Bachchan – “Our friends advised us to close this losing venture and move on but we decided to clear all our debts despite huge losses and re-start the production of films“. “It is only my conscience that kept me going,” the legendary actor said. “Many businessmen and financial advisers told me that I should give up ABCL and start a new life. But somewhere I felt that I owe people money. People had put faith in ABCL because of my name. Therefore, I could not let it go easily.” There was a sword hanging over my head all the time. I spent many sleepless nights. One day, I got up early in the morning and went directly to Yash Chopraji and told him that I was bankrupt. I had no films. My house and a small property in New Delhi were attached. Yashji listened coolly and then offered me a role in his film Mohabattein. I then started doing commercials, television, and films. And I am happy to say today that I have repaid my entire debt of Rs 90 crore and am starting afresh.
Amitabh Bachchan is a strong personality. His never give up attitude make him Big B of Industry. No one can replace him because he is only one in the whole world.
Truthofthoughts.com

- Always think about what you want in your life
Life is full of mystery. God has given us a full power to manage our life. God has given us a gun with bullets in it and we only have to trigger the gun, now it’s up to us where we want to trigger it out. The same way God has given us a power of thinking now it’s up to us what we really want to think. Always try to analysis your thoughts. Thoughts have great power. It can change your life. The action is required to convert your imaginary world into reality. First Think, then acts according to your thoughts. Only think will make you a dreamer but Think + Action will make you a successful person.
Behind every successful player there is always a hard work of their coach. Recently PV Sindhu makes us proud on her victory for getting silver medal for India in Rio Olympics. But without right guidance and effective training this is not possible. If Sindhu had given her hard working sweat for this silver medal, her coach Pullela Gopichand had also given her hard core experience to her for making her shine in the sky of success.
Gopichand shared his views on the success of Sindhu to Times of India; I think a lot of people do a lot of hard work. God has just been kind. I can only say one thing. I started coaching Sindhu when she was very young. I’ve known her since then. When we started off in 2004, she was the youngest in the group. She was nearly eight years old then. And 2010 onwards, I would train her first thing in the morning. I used to start every morning with Sindhu. This was one relationship that I’ve always thought would produce a result. There were some times like in 2013, when we got a bronze at the World Championships, which was then followed by a few bad results. She lost in the first round of the Australian Open. That was two months before the Olympics. Some people even said, ‘Ispe time kyun waste kar rahe ho (Why are you wasting time on her?).’ But, I believed that hard work will produce results. I trusted that instinct and she has truly listened to whatever I have had to tell her.
Everyone is not able to evaluate a right quality of diamond, only few one can and Gopichand is one of them.
Today PV Sindhu won silver medal in the Rio Olympics 2016. Sindhu faced final match with Carolina Marin of Spain but she lost by 21-19, 12-21 in the gold medal match hence she secured silver medal. Sindhu won the first game against Carolina Marin by 21-19 but Carolina Marin won the second game against India’s Sindhu by 20-12 after Sindhu took the first game. In the deciding set, Carolina Marin won the match. Sindhu has made the entire nation proud with her silver medal in Rio Olympics.
Sakshi Malik has got India’s first medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She is the first Indian female wrestler to win an Olympic medal.
All Indians are celebrating success of two Indian girls; Sindhu and Sakshi Malik. They make all of us proud.
Female wrestler Sakshi Malik has got India’s first medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She is the first Indian female wrestler to win an Olympic medal.
Sakshi Malik; 23-year-old Haryana’s girl defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Aisuluu Tynybekova in the 58kg freestyle wrestling category, making a comeback in the final seconds to win 8-5. After her victory Malik run around the wrestling arena, carrying the Indian flag. Sakshi Malik is India’s fourth female athlete to climb the Olympic victory podium. She told to TV channel – “It’s (the victory) the result of 12 years of wrestling day and night. I never gave up in the bout and gave it my maximum,”
On her Success, Prime Minister of Narender Modi tweeted

Success has no boundaries. Few passionate and crazy people achieved it with their unique attitude. They all have one thing common – They all believe in themselves; they believe in their own ideas instead of believing society. Today I want to share life story of Mark Zuckerberg; one of the successful entrepreneur; Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and co-founder of social networking website (Facebook). He was born on May 14, 1984 to Edward Zuckerberg, a dentist and Karen Kempner, a pshychiatrist. He was brought up in the state of New York, with his three sisters. At his school, he was a bright student; he was considered one of his top students in the college. His incredible performance during high school earned him admission to Harvard University, one of the country top colleges and a training ground for innovators in science and business. Zuckerberg first created a website named “Facemash” but it was controversial website that encouraged students to rate each other based on appearance. This website faced criticism like illegal use of photographs, it was hosted on Harvard servers, it was the most popular page in the university’s entire network. He had to shut down the website but he got his idea for further step. He launched Facebook on February 4, 2004 with his friends from Harvard’s dormitory rooms. Zuckerberg took idea of Facebook from Philips Exeter Academy, the prep school from which Zuckerberg graduated in 2002; they used “The Facebook” – student directory. Such photo directories were an important part of the student social experience at many private schools. With them, students were able to list attributes such as their class years, their friends, and their telephone numbers. Zuckerberg first spread Facebook in Harvard University; then he spread it with other school with the help of roommate Dustin Moskovitz. Zuckerberg moved to Palo Alto California with some friends, they managed one office there. They got their first office in 2004 after getting investment by Peter. They got various offers from corporate but they all denied it. Zuckerberg wanted to create open information flow for people. He restated these goals to Wired magazine in 2010: “The thing I really care about is the mission, making the world open.” In December 2012, Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan announced they would give the majority of their wealth over the course of their lives to “advancing human potential and promoting equality” in the spirit of The Giving Pledge. On December 1, 2015, they announced they would give 99% of their Facebook shares (worth about $45 billion at the time) to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Since 2010, Time magazine has named Zuckerberg among the 100 wealthiest and most influential people in the world as a part of its Person of the Year distinction. He proved himself with his hard work and positive attitude. Never giving up attitude and facing criticism with positive attitude is two incredible feature of Mark Zuckerberg.

Success has same meaning for all but people achieved it with their different attitude. We all are same, God has given us same mind but he give us a choice that how we use our brain. Opportunities are always around us but it’s up to us “How we grab the opportunity”. Few people are actually unique. They are not wasting their time for detection of opportunities; they are far beyond from this. They are investing their time to create opportunities. One of the example of successful person is – Zack Ma: the Executive Chairman and founder of Alibaba Group, China’s leading Internet business entity, he is among the topmost Chinese entrepreneurs, who made it to the coveted Forbes list in recent years.
In his initial life, he was just an ordinary person as we all are but his attitude towards his life made him different from all of us. Jack Ma was born in Hangzhou in China. From childhood he had a special affection towards English language. He started communicating with foreign tourist in English. He completed his graduation in English from Hangzhou Normal University. He trapped the opportunity even when no one dear to think about it. He started his career in 1995 in the field of internet but he was not successful in it. He did not lose hope; once again he started his new venture named as “Alibaba.com” in 1999 as a B2B marketplace site. Alibaba.com enabled Chinese exporters to connect with overseas buyers. Ma managed to attract SoftBank and Goldman Sachs as investors later. He also founded many firms such as ‘Taobao”, ‘Lynx’and ‘Ali Mama’.
He kept Taobao as a free platform which in turn affected the profits and drew widespread criticism, but Ma was stick to his strategy. Taobao gained a majority of market share in two years. He proved himself not from his words but from his action. ‘Taobao’ grabbed the attention of another famous internet shark, ‘Yahoo’. The firm invested $1 Billion in Jack’s venture. According to Forbes, Jack’s net worth was estimated to be around $27 billion, as of 2015. KFC rejected him for job, he did simple thing; he created his own venture now where even KFC want to advertise.
Inspiring story of Jack Ma
Before he founded Alibaba, he invited 24 friends to his house to discuss the business opportunity. After 2 hours discussion, they were still confused. 23 out of the 24 people told him to drop the idea. There was only one friend who told him, “If you want to do it, just try it. If things don’t work out the way you expected it to, you can always revert back to what you were doing before.” By the next morning, Jack decided; he would do it anyway, even if all of the 24 people opposed the idea. Jack believed on the fact “keep trying”. On the execution of Alibaba.com; he faced lot of opposition from friends and family but this opposition was not enough for shaken up strong will power of Jack.
Jack Ma: People lose out in life because of these 4 reasons:
1. Being myopic to opportunity
2. Looking down on opportunities
3. Lacking understanding
4. Failing to act quickly enough

The Bond of love between sisters and brothers is celebrated on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in India. On this day sister ties a thread around her brother’s wrist as a symbol of protection while the he promises to protect and take care of her. Raksha Bandhan falls on the day of the full moon. On this occasion all family members cherish the love of sisters and brothers. On this occasion brothers offer gifts to their sisters just to make her happy. Sisters show their love to brothers by tieing attractive piece of thread (Rakhi). It is also known as Rakhi Poornima or Rakhi
Raksha Bandhan – History
- There were different stories behind Raksha Bandhan occasion but the famous one is Rani Karnavati of Chittorgarh and Mughal King Humayun. Chittorgarh was once attacked by Bahadur Shah and it was not possible for widowed Rani Karnavati to save her empire from the mighty force of Bahadur Shah. She sent a rakhi to Humayun and pleaded to save her and the empire. Overcome by emotions, Humayun, along with his force, immediately rushed to Chittorgarh to protect the queen. Though he could not save Karnavati as she and all other womenfolk there had committed suicide before he could reach, Humayun fought against Bahadur Shah and saved Chittorgarh from his invasion. Later, he handed over the empire to Karnavati’s son Vikramjeet Singh.
- It is believed that once Lord Krishna cut his finger and was bleeding profusely. Seeing this, Draupadi tore a part of her sari and tied it around his finger. This is believed to be the reason why he saved her during hercheerharanby Kaurava.
- Rakhi saved Alexander The Great’s life. When he had invaded India, his wife Roxana had sent a rakhi to the Katoch King Porus and he had vowed to protect her and her husband. So, on the battlefield when he was about to kill Alexander he saw the rakhi and refrained from killing him.

While waiting outside of the restaurant on California Avenue in Palo Alto waiting for a table to open up, Steve showed his personal prototype iPhone. Marc said don’t you think it’s going to be a problem not having a physical keyboard? Are people really going to be okay typing directly on the screen?’ Jobs looked in the eye with that piercing gaze and said, ‘They’ll get used to it.’”

Stop! I am talking to you. Yes you. Hold on. Take a deep breath slowly.
You are perfect. You are fresh as child. Love yourself. Feel yourself. God loves you. You are his child. Throw out every stress. You are unique. You are special.
Don’t think about those people who are always pointing at you. It’s not necessary that every people will love us. It’s OK! It’s completely OK if few people are not like you. They are just human not God.
Respect yourself. You are everything to your parents. Your mother gave her life for your upbringing. Love her. Give some time to her. She deserves your precious time. Share something kidish to her. Make her feel like that she is important part of your life.
Live your life as much as crazy people. Add some madness in your life. Insert some childish ingredients in your life. LAUGH as much as you can. Play like children. It’s OK if you make some mistake. You are HUMAN not ROBOT.
New Morning, New Day
But you are still Old, Why?
Nature believe in present
But you live in past, Why?
So many complaints, so many problems
Thankfulness has gone far away, why?

If you take everything too seriously, especially yourself, you’ll wind up fearing every new step you take. You grow up the day you have your first real laugh at yourself and your circumstances!
- Overcoming Fear and Anger by Sandeep in Ahamdabad. Fear and anger are just like ghosts. Allowing them to take control over our actions give them the strength to grow. And for this reason, we must take great care not to hang on to our anger (or fear) under any circumstances.
- Power of Focus for Students by Sandeep in Lucknow. There is no limit to the power of the human mind. The mind is just like a shining sun which can produce fire provided its energies are focused and directed towards a single point.
- Create your own destiny in Hyderabad. You are the master of your own destiny! Simply understand that while your circumstances may determine the colours that you have to work with, the choices that you make on a day-to-day basis are in fact, the brushstrokes that will define what your masterpiece looks like.
- Law of Karma by Sandeep in Calcutta. Whether you look at it scientifically or spiritually, we are all One. Everything is related to everything else – nothing is in isolation. And so the “Law of Karma” has also to be understood in this background of Oneness.
- Power of Desire for Students by Sandeep in Jaipur.
- MindApp by Sandeep Maheshwari in Bangalore- We all seem to be living in this physical world but practically we are living in a virtual world; the world of our mind, and the mind is filled with countless thoughts. These thoughts can be compared with various Apps (applications) opened in a mobile phone or on a computer. If left unchecked, many of these Apps.
- Causeless Happiness by Sandeep. When we go beyond the thinking mind and touch the vast silence within, an eternal state of ‘Causeless Happiness’ is experienced. We begin to realise that all thoughts, feelings and external phenomenon are temporary and transitory. The only constant is this loving, joyful, peaceful silence within, that we were born with and exists in each person.
- Miracles by Sandeep in Delhi .Anything that our mind can’t understand seems like a miracle to us. Many a times, we attribute such things to a supernatural being (God), a miracle worker, a saint or a religious leader. And when we start believing blindly in such beings that we think can perform miracles, we stop relying on our own strengths.
- How to Live life to fullest by Sandeep in Patna. When our mind is strong, we can withstand even a thousand challenges without being affected by any of them. And such stability of mind cannot be achieved overnight. It is an endless pursuit. And while doing so, the most important thing to understand and remember is that…
“No matter how BIG your problem is, YOU ARE BIGGER than your problems.”
- The Power of Choice by Sandeep in Indore . Each man/woman has the power to choose how he/she will react to any given situation. Your quality of life depends upon your perspective to see the world and you can always make a choice to see differently… like an opportunity in a bitter experience… or a possibility in a problem!Initiative by Sandeep-

Waiting is over for (2016 Summer Olympics) Rio2016 officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad. This is held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Two days before opening rounds in certain events began on 3 August 2016. Rio 2016 is formally run from 5 August to 21 August 2016. Different countries are taking part in this Olympic but Kosovo and South Sudan are new entering country in it. This Olympics contains 306 sets of medals and 28 Olympic sports. Rio de Janeiro was selected as a host country by the IOC Executive Board on 4 June, 2008 with three of the six other Applicant cities—Chicago, Madrid and Tokyo; over Baku, Doha and Prague—becoming a Candidate city during the 2008 Sport Accord Convention in Athens, Greece. Rio de Janeiro was shortlisted receiving a 6.4 score, according to a study of its Application File delivered to the IOC Working Group on January 14, 2008.
The Olympics are adopting a new policy. According to this new policy, now transgender athletes can also take participate. The International Olympic Committee received proposed guidelines in November from its ‘Consensus Meeting on Sex Reassignment and Hyperandrogenism’, which allow for broader policies that would include transgender athletes.Olympic officials have not confirmed the new guidelines, which have already been adopted by other regulatory sports organizations, but the policy is available on the organization’s website. This policy change would be in line with NCAA standards in the United States, which allow male-to-female and female-to-male transgender athletes to compete without having gender reassignment surgery, according to ESPN. The current Olympic rules acknowledge transgender athletes’ right to compete, but with specific provisions under the Stockholm Consensus, which was adopted in 2004.The policies, adopted before the Athens Olympics, say transgender athletes have to have gender reassignment surgery and have legal recognition of the gender they were assigned at birth. They also have to have undergone at least two years of hormone replacement therapy after surgery. The proposed new rules would allow transgender athletes to compete after one year of hormone replacement therapy and no surgery is required.

During the 1975-77 political crisis, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency, banning political organizations such as the RSS. Modi went underground and wrote a book, Sangharsh ma Gujarat (Gujarat in Emergency), which chronicles his experiences as a political fugitive. In 1987, Narendra Modi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which stood for Hindu nationalism. He promoted privatization of businesses, small government and Hindu values. In 1995, Modi was elected BJP national secretary, a position from which he successfully helped settle internal leadership disputes, paving the way for BJP election victories in 1998. Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001. Modi always talked about Growth and development. In fact, Gujarat has shown an overall growth encompassing agriculture, manufacture and services under this man of development. Violence spread, and Modi imposed a curfew granting police shoot-to-kill orders. After peace was restored, Modi’s government was criticized and he was criticized of allowing the killings of more than 1,000 Muslims. After two investigations, the Indian Supreme Court concluded there was no evidence Modi was at fault. Once again Gujarat people showed trust on Modi and he was reelected chief minister of Gujarat in 2007 and 2012. Malala is a one of strong leader who choose to take stand for her viewpoint. Taliban forced to close schools throughout Pakistan’s Swat valley. Girls were not allowed to go out from home or go to school. Malala took stand and she continued her schooling. Malala had tried a lot to keep her viewpoint in front of others by writing blogs, giving interviews, spoke on radio and T.V. She tried every possible mean to connect with people and share her viewpoint to them. She wanted to motivate her sisters and brothers for education. Malala shared her story by writing a book named “I AM MALALA”, and she allowed Guggenheim to make a film about her. Purpose of this book and film was to grab attention and inspire them to join a cause. Malala is honest and straight forward personality. She just wants to help her sisters and brothers those who are still deprive from their basic right of education. Malala had no dream of taking revenge from her attackers. Still she is walking on a path to motivate other girls and boys whom she considered her sisters and brothers for education. Malala was awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize with Kailash Satyarthi, becoming its youngest recipient ever, at the age of 17.
Few quotes of Malala which shows her strong will determination:
Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.
In some parts of the world, students are going to school every day. It’s their normal life. But in other part of the world, we are starving for education… it’s like a precious gift. It’s like a diamond.
I speak not for myself but for those without voice… those who have fought for their rights… their right to live in peace, their right to be treated with dignity, their right to equality of opportunity, their right to be educated.
Why is it that, giving guns is easy but giving books are so hard?
Nobel Lecture by Malala Yousafzai, OsloMalala(2014)
We had a thirst for education; we had a thirst for education because our future was right there in that classroom. We would sit and learn and read together. We loved to wear neat and tidy school uniforms and we would sit there with big dreams in our eyes. We wanted to make our parents proud and prove that we could also excel in our studies and achieve those goals, which some people think only boys can.
But things did not remain the same. When I was in Swat, which was a place of tourism and beauty, suddenly changed into a place of terrorism. I was just ten that more than 400 schools were destroyed. Women were flogged. People were killed. And our beautiful dreams turned into nightmares. Education went from being a right to being a crime. Girls were stopped from going to school. When my world suddenly changed, my priorities changed too.
I had two options. One was to remain silent and wait to be killed. And the second was to speak up and then be killed. I choose the second one. I decided to speak up.
I am proud, well in fact, I am very proud to be the first Pashtun, the first Pakistani, and the youngest person to receive this award. Along with that, along with that, I am pretty certain that I am also the first recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize who still fights with her younger brothers. I want there to be peace everywhere, but my brothers and I are still working on that.

If you look at the faces of children when they arrive, fresh from the very source of life. The child is alive. He had come with a tremendous fragrance, indefinable. Look into the eyes of a child – you cannot find anything deeper. Unfortunately, the way society will destroy him soon his eyes will be only superficial; because of layers and layers of conditioning that depth that immense depth will have disappeared long before. And that was his original face. The Child is conscious but without thoughts. This is the original face of the child.
A Child needs immense privacy, as much as possible, a maximum of privacy so that he can develop his individuality with no interference. But we are trespassing on the child, continuously trespassing. Parents are continuously asking, “What are you doing?, What are thinking?”
Parents should be respectful to the children. The children deserve all the respect you can manage because they are so fresh, so innocent, so close to godliness. It is time to pay respect to them, not to force them to pay respect.
Love your children, enjoy their freedom. Let them commit mistakes; help them to see where they have committed a mistake. Tell them, “To commit mistakes is not wrong. Commit as many mistakes as possible, because that is the way you will be learning more. But don’t commit the same mistake again and again.
If you have a child, protect the child from yourself. Protect the child from others who can influence him: at least up to seven years, protect him. The child is just like a small plant, weak, soft, just a strong wind can destroy it, any animal can eat it up. You put a protecting wiring around it but that is not imprisoning, you are simply protecting. When the plant is bigger, the wires will be removed. Protect the child from every kind of influence so that he can remain himself – and it is only a question of seven years, because then the first circle will be complete. By seven years he will be well grounded, centered, strong enough.
Parents seem to be too much concerned. Too much concern can be dangerous. The idea to make somebody happy never succeeds. It is against the laws of nature.
Children can be very manipulative. They learn wrong strategies and then they will repeat those strategies for their whole life. They can weep, they can cry, Let them cry, they have to be left alone. And they will learn something out of it: the respect for others’ freedom.

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything. Continue reading “All The World’s A Stage (William Shakespeare)”
