Company का नाम Apple कैसे पडा, इसके LOGO का आधा भाग कटा क्यों है ?
दोस्तों technology की दुनिया में जहां भी computer की Companies का नाम आता है उसमे Apple का नाम सर्वोपरी है | Apple का नाम साधारण नही है | लेकिन computer और Technology के क्षेत्र में Apple नाम कुछ अजीब सा लगता है | और बहुतों के मन में एक सवाल आता है कि आखिर इस कंपनी का नाम Apple क्यों और कैसे पडा ? और apple Company के Logo का एक भाग कटा हुआ क्यों है ?
Computer क्षेत्र के कुछ टॉप कंपनी की बात करें तो ज्यदातर कम्पनी का नाम उनके संस्थापकों के नाम पर है, जैसे- Dell | बाकी कंपनियों के नाम ऐसे है जिसको सुनते ही लगता है, की हाँ ये कंप्यूटर क्षेत्र की कम्पनी है | लेकिन Apple के नाम से लगता ही नही है कि किसी बड़े Technology या किसी बड़े computer क्षेत्र की कंपनी है | फिर इस कंपनी का नाम Apple कैसे पडा ? कोई बात नही हम आपको बताते है |
1976 में Apple I को बाज़ार में उतारने से पहले Steve Jobs और उनके Partner एक उपयुक्त नाम खोज रहे थे | यह नाम तब चुना गया जब दोनों अपनी कार में एकसाथ बैठे थे | बैठे-बैठे कुछ नाम चुना गया | जिसमे ज्यादातर वही traditional नाम थे जिसमे ज्यादातर नामों में computer नामों की गंध आ रही थी | लेकिन इस तरह के नामों की दुनिया भर में भरमार थी | अगर चीजे अलग तरह से होती तो इस company का नाम मैट्रिक्स इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, आईपॉड, या Ecxutech Ipod पड सकता था | लेकिन कंपनी के दोनों संस्थापकों ने decide किया कि इनमे से कोई भी नाम चुनने लायक नही है |
इस दौरान जॉब्स अपनी फलों वाली जीवन शैली से गले तक डूबे हुए थे | क्योकि उसी समय अपने collage के पुराने friend Robert Fred land के सेब के बगीचे से घूम कर लौटे थे | अक्सर Steve Jobs उस सेब के बगीचे में घुमने जाया करते थे | क्योकि उनको वह सेब का बगीचा बहुत ज्यादा पसंद था | जबकि यह बगीचा पोलैंड से काफी दूर था | कोई शक नही था कि उनके दिमाग में सेब घूम रहा था | इसलिए जॉब्स ने एप्पल नाम का सुझाव दे दिया | उनका तर्क था कि यह नाम मजेदार था | भयभीत करने वाला नही था | काफी easy और catchy नाम था |
सेब एक तरह से जज्बे का प्रतिक था | जॉब्स ने एप्पल के अलावा कोई बेहतर नाम सोचने की लाखों कोशिश की | लेकिन उनके दिमाग में एप्पल के अलावा कोई नाम फिट ही नही हो रहा था | एक स्तर पर सेब प्रकृति, अच्छाई, शुद्धता का प्रतिक है | बाइबिल के सन्दर्भ में, यह एक ज्ञान का फल है | इसके अलावा सेब न्यूटन के गुरुत्वाकर्षण की खोज में भी शामिल है | जब भी एप्पल का नाम आता है उस समय सर न्यूटन की याद जरुर आ जाती है | जो एक सेब के पेड़ के नीचे बैठकर प्रेरणा पाने का इन्तजार कर रहे थे | ऐसा जॉब्स के दिमाग में आ रहा था |
अंतत: कम्पनी ने एक ऐसे सेब की छवि चुनने का निर्णय लिया, जिसका एक टुकडा खा लिया गया है | (यानी सर न्यूटन ने सेब से ही गुरुत्वाकर्षण के नियम को खोजा था | इसलिए एक भाग उनके नाम पर ) एक मजेदार तरीका, जो कंप्यूटर Memory के “बाईट” को भी दर्शाता था | इस तरह से Computer के क्षेत्र में आज Apple का नाम सर्वोपरी है | जिसे दुनिया का बच्चा-बच्चा जनता है |
